However, their coefficient thermal expansion is comparable to that of stainless steel. As with other ceramic bearings, our zirconia range performs well in both high and low temperatures They are non-magnetic, non-conductive, and have corrosion-resistant properties. Although they react poorly to prolonged contact with steam or hot water, and do not perform well in hydrofluoric acid, zirconia bearings are particularly suited to offshore applications.
